New Reading English Conversation Group «Frankenstein» written by Mary Shelley.

➡️The Novelda Public Library continues with a reading proposal for the month of April, aimed at students or anyone interested in practicing English with a level A2/B1 or higher to read and comment on the books lent by the Library.

📓The book proposed for this month of March is “Frankenstein”, a novel written by Mary Shelley available for loan at the Novelda General Library. You just need to have the reader card of the Public Library Network of the Valencian Community (free).

Synopsis:

📖Victor Frankenstein thinks he has found the secret of life. He takes parts from dead people and builds a new ‘man’. But this monster is so big and frightening that everyone runs away from him – even Frankenstein himself! The monster is like an enormous baby who needs love. But nobody gives him love, and soon he learns to hate. And, because he is so strong, the next thing he learns is how to kill…

🙋🏼‍♀️Each participant will read and listen to the proposed book individually and at the meeting they will be able to ask, comment and debate in English anything they wish.

🗣️🇬🇧The meetings will be on the last Tuesday of each month at 6 pm at the Novelda Culture House and the sessions will be guided by Pepe Requena.

👉🏻Ideal for intermediate level English learners looking to improve or practise their English. The book is full of useful vocabulary that is carefully graded and easy to understand; It also comes with audio, so you can listen to the story while you read.
