?️Novelda Public Library offers an English Conversation Group «GOOD READERS»

?️Novelda Public Library proudly offers this free open activity, inviting students or anyone interested in practising their English to (audio)read a book every month and join the English conversation group to discuss the content and share their views and opinions.

??This month, on Halloween, we will be discussing “The Hound of the Barkervilles», a crime novel by British writer Arthur Conan Doyle featuring the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. It is now available in the library. You just need to have the membership card of the Public Library Network of the Valencian Community, which is free.

?The meetings will take place at the Cultural Centre at 6pm on the last Tuesday of each month. The first meeting this season will be on Tuesday, October 31 (you can attend the meeting in fancy dress ?).

??Each participant will read and listen to the proposed book individually at home, and then at the meeting they will have the opportunity to participate in a discussion about it.

?The sessions will be guided by Pepe Requena.

✅Ideal for intermediate and more confident learners of English looking to improve or practise their English. The book is filled with useful vocabulary that is carefully graded and easy to understand. It also comes with audio, so that you can listen to the story at the same time as reading.
